Tradewinds Vacations Looks At The Top Celebrations This Earth Day
No matter where you are on April 22, 2011, there are ample opportunities for you to enjoy the wonderful events surrounding this years Earth Day Celebration. Celebrate the earth this Earth Day with Tradewinds Vacations.
New York – Grand Central Station
Exhibits all week long, art from prominent artists 10 hours a day each day of the week.
Cost – Free
Washington DC – Earth Day 2011 on the National Mall
Hosted by the EPA includes hands on activities for all ages. April 16th and 17th and the National Sustainable Design Expo.
Colorado Springs – Garden of the Gods
Begins with a park Clean up, events throughout the day included wildlife demonstrations and birds of prey program. In addition, shows and arts and crafts for the kids are ongoing as well as search and rescue demonstrations, American Indian dancers and more.
Museum free day/Earth Day celebration – The Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Activities and celebrations all day. – April 17th.
Other cities of note who will be holding celebrations include cities such as London, Tokyo and Houston as well as Louisville and Chicago.
